5:30 – 6:00 p.m: September Season Opener:  Time Management

Dave TaylorOur Section 1212 meeting season begins on Thursday September 17, at 5:30 P.M., with our section’s own Dave Taylor, who will introduce us to a time management tool, which may be unfamiliar to that many of us. The first fifty attendees to our meeting will receive a free copy of this tool, and by coming to Dave’s presentation, you will learn how to use it.  It’s portable, and though low-tech, could be adapted for use on your mobile device!
Dave Taylor is the retired business owner and entrepreneur for Kolimat, Inc. in Vernon Hills, where he performs quality consulting services to small companies seeking ISO certification.  He is a former chair of Section 1212, having served in many leadership positions.  Currently, he is the chair for ASQ Section 1212’s ISO Support Group.

At 6:00 we’ll take a break for dinner and networking.

7:00 – 8:00 p.m: Main Presentation features your entire Section Leadership Committee.

You will learn about ASQ, what it has to offer its members, and get an opportunity to meet and greet with your Section Leadership.  You will learn about the various services your section can provide to you, and how you can get involved in ASQ and build your career to new heights.  After this presentation, and learning about the various roles available at ASQ 1212, your section will be accepting nominations for officers to introduce on next year’s slate of candidates.  This is Your opportunity to get involved and become part of something greater!
