Join us on Thursday, December 17, starting at 5:30 p.m. at Dover Straits restaurant for our annual Quality Celebration, where we will have fun (and gifts) exchanged for all participants! Please bring a wrapped “White Elephant” gift with you, and we will have some seasonally appropriate fun. (Please, don’t spend any money; feel free to re-gift something that might be useful to someone else at our gathering.)
In the Spirit of the Season for Giving, we also use our December meeting to bring special focus to a charity that lives the giving spirit year-round. This year, we feature Manu Vora, who will discuss his work with the Blind Foundation for India, where small donations make a big difference in the lives of patients.
Manu’s discussion will also cover Social Responsibility, and why it is important, as people in the Quality Field.
Manu Vora is a Ph.D., MBA, ASQ CQE & ASQ Fellow. He is on the adjunct Faculty of the, School of Continuing Studies for Northwestern University, and was the past Illinois Vice President, for the American Society for Quality (ASQ). He is presently Chairman and President, of Business Excellence, Inc.
